She’s the Princess of Westchester and the master of the pick “n” roll. Meet Jada, the 10 year old AAU baller dominating on the Riverside Hawks who literally, eats, breathes, and lives basketball. With her sick crossover and one on one game, it only seems fit that her idol and role model is Kyrie Irving.
Jada herself sees the similarities; she resides in New York, and Kyrie grew up in New Jersey. They are also both point guards taught the game by their respective fathers. Jada is currently coached by her father Neno, who has been an AAU basketball coach in the Tri-State area for the last 8 years. In addition to dominating on the court, she also dominates her grades, and is an honor roll student.
So where does this Honor Roll Student and her father see herself 10 years from now? A talented 20 year old playing at UConn under Geno Auriemma, and getting ready to declare for the WNBA draft. For now though she is preparing for the summer, and the first thing on her to-do list is to see Kyrie Irving’s Uncle Drew movie in June.
